We are done with organizing the Family Photos. We are in the process of working on the Misc Photos now. You can still look at the website at anytime as long as you can access it. We aren't on it very often changing things, so the chances are that you will be able to access it.

We had Gail's Bible Presentation/Baby Dedication at church last night where the Pastor said a few words and presented her with her very own personalized New Testament bible. She did really good considering that she hadn't had a nap for a while and it got loud when the music started. She was smiling and giggly throughout the presentation. Here's a picture of the 3 of us, Gail in her pretty little outfit, and the bible she received. Unfortunately, Carter wasn't able to sit in on the presentation. He was in the nursery. After the presentation, we had to go straight to the nursery to work in Carter's room. We like to be in his room, but it is hard to show any attention to the other kids because he wants us all to himself.

You can go to the Family Photos/January 2007 album to view the bible better (it's hard to see here). There are a few additional photos of Gail.

We have been making changes to our website. We are breaking the pictures down month by month under "Family Photos" (click on "Family Photos" to view list of months). We have some months already in place. The most recent pictures (from this month) are under the "Family Photos/January 2007" album. We will eventually be breaking down the "Misc Photos" album as well. We thought this would be easier to view the most recent pictures without having to scroll through all the old ones.

If you aren't able to access the website, we may be on it changing things around at the time.

I just wanted to take a moment to remember my brother Tommy. Tommy passed away 22 years ago today to Cancer. I love him and he remains in my thoughts and heart everyday!

View Article  Update on the Kids

Gail is starting to pull herself up to a sitting position. I went to get her up to feed her this afternoon and she was sitting up in her crib. I was shocked when I went in and saw her. I unfortunately didn't get a picture (the camera wasn't close by, and well, the batteries were dead too). She is sitting on her own better. She is able to sit for longer periods of time.  She is starting to laugh alot more and she loves to play peek-a-boo. She is holding her bottle by herself and she is still eating well. Her favorite foods seem to be squash and pears. We don't see any more teeth trying to come in right now. She has all four of her front teeth. Carter is doing good too. He is getting better as far as going potty, but still doesn't have it down. He is doing really good in his preschool class. He goes right in and starts playing. The teacher says that he is doing good at saying his ABC's and counting and with his colors. We haven't had any trouble lately dropping him off anywhere. We guess that he is getting used to everything and feels comfortable with everybody. We are so happy about that. It is so hard to leave a child when they are so upset about you leaving them.

We got the opportunity to see Carter's birthmother and birthfather on Saturday. They are expecting a little boy in February and were supposed to be married today. It was nice to see them and to finally meet Carter's birthfather (this is the first time we have seen him). We wish them all the best with their marriage and the new baby.

We will try to get some more pictures on here soon. We finally got some new batteries for the camera and hopefully we will be able to find some time to take some.

View Article  Happy New Year!
We didn't do much for New Year's Eve. We went out and had some lunch then browsed around one of the malls a little bit just to get out of the house. It was a pretty day and we didn't want to waste it. We lounged around the house the rest of the day. We had already took down all the Christmas decorations and packed them away, so we didn't have to mess with that stuff. The kids went down at their usual times. We were surprised that they both slept through the firecrackers because alot of people in our neighborhood were shooting them off and both of the neighbors on either side of us. We were mostly worried about Carter getting to sleep because we figured he would be up looking out his window to see what was going on. But we didn't have any problems. Anyway, the rest of the night, Frank and I stayed up watching tv until midnight. We watched a couple of SG-1 episodes off the Season One DVD I got Frank for Christmas.
